Scrambler Fever 2022
The 2022 edition proved again that scramblers are doing well. Riding classic dirt bikes in beautiful natural surroundings finds more and more lovers every year. Especially after lockdowns, people have started to appreciate nature more and more and more often they fraternize with it... even if they have to use a motorcycle to do it. The need to associate with similar "freaks" attracted participants from all over Europe. A year earlier, COVID thwarted the plans of the Swedes, but this year they did not let go! In addition to Poles, there were strong teams from Germany, Sweden and three guys from the Czech Republic. The cross-section of motorcycles was equally colorful. From classic Triumphs, Bultacos and BMWs to modern Ducati, CF Moto and Fantic.
As before, BMW Motorrad Polska brought several machines from the R9T series shod in genuine Bridgestone tires and made them available for test drives. There was no shortage of volunteers. The Broger brand also showed its latest collection this year. You could feel and try on jackets, trousers, shoes and goggles while drinking a cold beer. Cool, yeah? Thursday was spent swimming, fishing and broadly understood chillout. In the evening, when most of the participants arrived at the camp site, the official part could begin. We have prepared an obstacle course in the nearby area. For a while, anyone who wanted to could ride as much as they wanted. Then the time trials began. Emotions were running high and the best was yet to come. Due to the large number of guests from abroad, we decided to play a moto-ball match POLAND vs GERMANY. The rules were simple: there is one ball, there are two football gates, all tricks are allowed! The boys fought selflessly, after some time no one counted the soil. 2 balls fell on the battlefield, motorcycles survived. After the goalless match, everyone happily returned to the resort, where broadly understood integration took place to music played by DJ Król.

Yep...Friday... Again, it was necessary to get up early, eat a delicious breakfast and be on time for the briefing before the rally. Then, as standard, every 2 minutes we let the participants into the unknown, this time in twos. As a rule, "newbies" got lost not being able to read the road book, and the old ones went like a storm. This time the participants had a lot of work. In addition to navigating, they had to find hidden tasks. Some of them were not marked on the map, only mentioned on the quest card. You had to keep your eyes open all the time not to miss anything. The speed of 30km/h provided the right impression and allowed you to catch all the tasks or checkpoints. One of the possibilities to have fun was the motocross track in Niwka. A few years ago we were already here, but being so close, we couldn't resist a ride around it. Sweat poured down our foreheads as we drove around the track, and our thirst was quenched by the Fritz-Kola served to everyone after the trip by the delegation from Fritz-Kola Polska. Glad you were there with us! The route marked out together with the Czaplinek Forest District was varied and extremely picturesque. Many thanks again for your help! The multitude of tasks meant that it took the whole day to cover 88km... but how was the dinner afterwards!! In the evening, DJ Królu let the Berlin rock band BOZ onto the stage for over an hour. Its vocalist, Uli, had previously competed in the rally, so I have great respect for him that he wanted to play and sing for us after the whole day. And their sound was deceptively reminiscent of OASIS. After the concert, Królu jumped behind the console again, and when it was dark enough, the projection of photos from previous editions of Scrambler Fever started. A bonfire was burning nearby, and conversations in various languages lasted until the morning?.
On Saturday morning, a hearty breakfast awaited us again. After that, we sent everyone the GPX tracks of the sightseeing route, which was 114 km long. Everyone was going at their own pace that day. We led the fastest group in person, the rest followed the GPS. Along the way, there were several opportunities to take a bath in the lakes because the heat this year was unmerciful. Those who decided to chill by the lake, were happy to test R9T demos afterwards. Kids, on the other hand, chose trampolines, boats and sups. Something nice for everyone!
After dinner and the concert, we handed out prizes and diplomas. This year, everyone who completed the route received a diploma. The best ones came back with valuable prizes funded by RHCC, BMW, ROEG, MCS, BROGER, BRIDGESTONE, FRITZ-KOLA. Thank you for supporting our event!
Just handing out the first three awards was epic. Oueen's "We are the champions" was playing in the background, fireworks were launched behind the podium and the top three were pouring champagne! Thanks to DJ Król for a mega show and music setting.
And that's called a good ending!
